How Hoster works

From booking calendar to documented clean.

Hoster is a focused system for the cleaning side of a short-let business. It helps owners and small managers coordinate turnovers, give housekeepers the right task, collect cleaning evidence, and understand costs without sharing guest information.

How does Hoster manage short-let cleaning?

Hoster reads Airbnb and Booking.com iCal calendar feeds every 15 minutes. When a reservation creates a check-out and an upcoming check-in, Hoster derives the cleaning work and flags same-day turnovers. The owner can assign a named housekeeper or notify a trusted cleaning team by email and WhatsApp; the first person to confirm can take the job. The housekeeper uses a phone-first task view with the apartment checklist, required room photos, and a property issue report. When the clean is completed, the owner receives the relevant operational record. Each completed clean can also carry cleaning costs, photo proof, and a history that supports day-to-day operations or a later dispute.

The parts of the product

One connected workflow, with clear boundaries.

Calendar intelligence

iCal, not a channel manager.

Hoster uses the information available in Airbnb and Booking.com calendar feeds to schedule cleaning. It does not control availability across channels or sync booking prices.

Guest check-in pages

Practical information before arrival.

Each property can have its own custom landing page for access, Wi-Fi, house rules, local information, and checkout, with a direct WhatsApp route to the host.

Evidence and privacy

Cleaner task data stays limited.

Photo proof and cleaning history are organised around the apartment and task. Guest names, emails, ID details, and prices are not sent to housekeepers.

What Hoster does not do

Clarity protects the product promise.

Does Hoster file tax returns or connect to AADE?

No. Hoster does not file taxes and does not connect to AADE or the property registry.

Does Hoster sync booking prices?

No. Booking prices are not provided by iCal feeds, so Hoster is not a price-sync or automatic-pricing service.

Is Hoster an AI product?

No. Hoster is an operational product for cleaning schedules, evidence, team coordination, guest guide pages, and cleaning costs.

Does Hoster automate guest messaging?

No. Guest guides are static, property-specific landing pages. The guest can use WhatsApp to contact the host directly when support is needed.
